Today I will do what others won’t, so tomorrow I can accomplish what others can’t.
This entry is part 35 of 36 in the series Every Single Day

If you’re wondering why you’re doing what you do today, here you go.

First of all, let me get one thing out of the way: I can’t not write. No, that’s not a double negative typo, I have to write. I want to write. I like writing.

Which is good because I can’t not do it.

“Today I will do what others won’t, so tomorrow I can accomplish what others can’t.”

— Jerry Rice

But I do it Every Single Day. Without fail. Not because I have to, but because I want to.

Many writers, or, well, yeah, wannabe writers, don’t write.

I’m doing today what they won’t.

So tomorrow I’ll accomplish what they can’t.

See how it works?

If not, read it again. It’s simple, but not easy.

What are you doing today that others won’t?
