Interview the Up and Coming

Interview the Up and Coming

The success story is a known entity. The not-yet-a-star is exciting.

I made a million dollars, sold a gazillion books and here’s how I did it. Blah blah blah.

What about the guy who’s not there yet? What’s he doing? Is he going to “make it”? What does “make it” look like for him? Maybe he’s already “made it” according to his own guidelines but not as much for the public.

How do you find these people? They’re not the ones being interviewed. They’re not at the top of the lists. They’re almost there. What are they doing to propel themselves to the top?

How about interviews with 6 people over 6 months and, keeping them separate, following how they’re doing. Who’s doing what? What’s working? What’s not?

I’d listen to that.

What are the stars like before they're stars?

What are the stars like before they’re stars?
