Bye bye Chipyela. I didn’t love you and I won’t miss you.
Let things go, wish them well and move on.
I never really even knew you. I found you, used you and now you’re gone. It’s been great, no, good, no, it’s been, well, it’s just been. You did your job, you’re done. Thanks.

I’m sure most people don’t have emotional connections to domain names (OK, some do). You buy them, you use them, they might be your brand, your company, your name even. But sometimes, domains are just space on the Internet that you use for a reason and then you don’t.
I’ve been managing reseller hosting servers for the past several years and I’m now getting out of the reseller hosting business (because it’s a pain). Chipyela.com is a domain name I bought to handle the growing clientele I had and I needed more servers (and more domain names) to house them.
As far as difficulty levels of decisions, this one ranks as: Crazy Easy.
Chipyela is a part of Likoma Island which was the source of much love in my life and then the name of my marketing company for the past 10 years. It’s time to say goodbye, thank you and we’re moving on. Thank you, Chipyela, it’s been fun, but not real fun, and we’re moving on. I hope you find a new owner who loves you and maybe promotes the sites of Likoma to bring a few people to your remote island.
