“As long as we’re alive, we might as well live.”
You might hear 237,406 words per day. How many resonate?
Lots of talk and chatter. Music and car horns. People talking, preaching. Movies, TV. Everything seems to make a noise and have some meaning.
“As long as we’re alive, we might as well live.”
— Rev. Jay Williams, Ph.D., Lead Pastor
This morning at Glide church, those words rang out to me. It reminded me of the advice I got from the dentist:
“Only brush the teeth you want to keep.”
It’s the simple stuff that sinks in. The complicated stuff often hovers over and occasionally sinks in, but it’s the direct, simple words that swoop in and make it happen.
