Agile, Awake, Alive
Don’t say “I want to lose weight.” Say what you want to be, what you want to feel.
I’m learning to hear my own words through what others hear me say. I heard me say (and then was reminded of what I said back to me):
- I need to lose weight.
- I need to put in some serious effort.
- I’m struggling with my weight.
Man, can you tighten the negative ankle bracelets, please?
What am I looking to do? No, what am I looking to achieve? Nah. What am I looking to become, to be.
Agile
Awake
Alive
There you have it.
I’m not focusing on all of the words that will send me in the wrong direction (lose, weight, need, serious, effort, struggling, weight). Nope. Here you have it. There are just three of them and they are all A, all the start of something, all just flow freely and are what I will be.
No. What I am and will be more of.
Agile. Awake. Alive.
What will you be?
