Cured: Strengthen Your Immune System and Heal Your Life (Review)
Don’t wait until you need to be cured to read/listen to this book.
Too often we wait until a Big Life Event (death, illness, tragedy, etc.) to make a change in your life.
If I could only have you (or me) read this before you get to that point, dare I suggest that you might not get to that point.
If it’s possible that our minds have more power over our physical bodies than we think, how could that hurt? What if we were practicing this power before we really needed it? Rather than waiting to be in a state of flight or fright we got started while we were still in a relatively good place?
Think how much easier that would be?
You know when you’re rushed and you need to get something done? You do it hurriedly, without much thought or care and certainly not much passion, love, or patience.
You’re probably not thinking of how you might help others but how you’re going to get through this immediate thing.
What If It Were Easy?
What if we read this book (and did what it suggests we do) before we needed it?
That’s about it. That’s the main point I’d like to say about this book.
You can be on board with the stories or not but you’re going to be easier to persuade when you’re coming not from a place of want or even desperation but a “higher” place where it will all be easier and even more powerful.
Just saying.
P.S. This one lands a prime spot right up there with Radical Remission.
I listened to (and loved) the audiobook version of this book that I got through Overdrive (the library).
