Oops, I just figured out how to get more of what you want.
So many of us struggle to get what you want. Yeah, here’s how to solve that.
I could probably go on an on for paragraphs with a big build up about how to do this, how deeply important it all is, and how it will transform your life and all that.
But I have books to write.
I have things to do. I have things to do that I want to do. I have things to do that I want to do more than I want to write about how to get the things you want to do.
But that’s actually it. That’s really the answer.
I’m doing what I want to do.
I’m not just talking about what I want to do or dreaming of what I might someday do. I’m not even writing about how I should really be doing this or how if only this were to happen then I’d be doing what I know that I most certainly ought to do if I’m to be the person that I know I truly am.
But I’m not doing any of that. I’m just doing what I want to do.
I’m writing.
I’m not talking about writing. I’m not dreaming of writing. I’m not projecting the writing I might do when I’m older or even the writing I did when I was younger. Today, right now, I’m writing.
So, have you figured out how to get more of what you want? There are just a few simple steps.
- Narrow down what it is that you actually want.
- Toss out the other noise and stuff you don’t want.
- Focus even more on what you do want. (AKA: want less)
- Do more of what you want.
There you have it. Hey, I gotta go. I’m creating a new cover for the second book in the Li & Lu series because I’m working on the fifth book in that series as well as on a new series starring none other than Charlie Holiday.
I think I just like writing his name. It’s like he exists. Because he does exist. I created him.
Because I’m doing what I want to do. I’m writing.
What are you doing?
