It’s really all about matchmaking.

I need a power drill. Someone doesn’t need their power drill. I want to sell paranormal fantasy books. Someone wants to read paranormal fantasy books.

How do we all find each other?

It just hit me today. Maybe I’m a little slow.

I know there are people out there for whom my book would be a godsend. There are also people out there who would really benefit from working with me on current and future projects. I could help them, they could help me, we’d all be the better for it.

But I am one person in one place. They are other people in other places.

Then there’s time. Oh, and timing. Location. Mindset. Chance. Fate.

How does it all happen?

Yet it all happens. But could it happen better? Sure. Could it happen worse? Yep, that too.
