Ooops, need to make a change to your audiobook after it’s been published? Here’s how.

Ooops, need to make a change to your audiobook after it’s been published? Here’s how.

I changed my book’s title, subtitle, cover, and description. Uh oh.

No oh uh.

I use Findaway Voices for many reasons, but here’s another:

I can submit changes to anything in and around the book and they’ll submit the changes to their dozens of distribution channels.

I uploaded my new audiobook graphic, changed my title, changed my subtitle, and changed my description. I also had a few audio files where I mentioned the title name (for example, the opening credits, the closing credits) and there’s even a super easy link to replace a certain file. Ka-boom! Done.

NOTE: It says it can take a month to have your updates spread out to the shops. Also, there was something about not doing this more often than once a month–but hopefully you shouldn’t be doing that anyway!

Done!

Here’s the new audiobook cover:

Charlie Holiday in "Now is Your Chance."

Charlie Holiday in “Now is Your Chance.”

Here’s the old one:

Charlie Holiday Book 1: Florence

Charlie Holiday Book 1: Florence

Friendly email the next day from Findaway Voices saying that if I need things done faster, I can also ask directly.
