Rocky Balboa and why you need to tell your story.

Rocky Balboa and why you need to tell your story.

Why you’re also the only one who can tell it.

I just saw Creed II with my 12-year-old son. Somewhere early in the film, I said to myself and maybe to him, “Wow, this is pretty much the exact same story as Rocky II.” From 30 years ago.

Sure enough, there were even references to the Rocky II battle against Drago.

So why should I sit through a movie that’s the same as one I’ve previously seen?

That was the topic of my speech this week at Toast Masters.
