Overwhelmed with “Papers from the Past”? Scanner Pro to the Rescue

How about giant (and extremely heavy) photo albums?
I only review products I use and love. Here’s one of them: Scanner Pro.
As I’ve undoubtedly gone on and on about, I’m at the tail end of two weeks of purging through decades of junk, I mean, important documents that have been filed carefully in my childhood home’s attic.
But now it’s time.
I/we used to create photo albums. Big ones. I just counted, one was 171 pages.
Let me just give it to you straight. With the Scanner Pro app, you adjust your lighting for glare and hold the phone above a page of your album. Let it adjust and click, it crops it (usually) just right and you turn the page and keep going. 171 times.
But hey, I just save 12 pounds of space and a large item.
Now I have it as a PDF and JPGs to share on a large screen.
That’s it. I don’t have time for further explanation. If you’re in the situation I’m in, you know how important a tool like this can be and you’ll get started and soon be shedding the pounds (and shelf space) like there’s no tomorrow.
P.S. I also got my niece to do three albums and she was done in a flash!
