🌱 A Bold Spring Cleaning: From Chaos to Clarity
Spring often comes with a natural urge to clean up and refresh, and this year, that urge hit my digital life hard. After nearly a decade of subscribing to tools like Teachable and MailerLite — platforms that cost me thousands of dollars yearly — I decided to make a radical shift. I’m canceling both and migrating everything to a new, affordable software called Fluent, which costs me roughly 18 cents a month. This change is more than a tech swap; it’s a spiritual reset.
Why the change? Well, after years of accumulating content, courses, mailing lists, and landing pages, I found myself managing 39 different courses and nearly 50 landing pages. Honestly, that was too much. Instead of mindlessly migrating this “digital clutter,” I decided to clean house and focus on what truly matters.
This process reminded me of a principle I’ve read countless times but rarely follow: “Do one thing and do it well.” I’m known as a “thin generalist,” someone who dabbles in many things but rarely masters one. While I won’t go from 100 projects to just one, I am committed to narrowing down to three core goals for 2025. This focus will bring clarity not only to my work but also to the people I serve.
🗺️ The Three Pillars of My 2025 Roadmap
Let me introduce you to the three core ideas that will shape my work and message in 2025. Each one complements the others, creating a cohesive treasure map to your future self.
- Now What? – Focused on decision-making and action.
- ONE Word Challenge – Your guiding mantra for the year.
- OPA (Other People’s Audiences) – Sharing and marketing through conversations.
These three projects align with a simple philosophy I coined on the spot: Decide, Act, and Share. They represent the core steps in moving from confusion to clarity and from intention to impact.
🧭 Now What? The Power of Decision-Making
The first pillar, “Now What?” is all about the decisions we make every day and how they shape who we become. It’s a deep dive into understanding why we make decisions, what blocks us, and how to make better, faster choices.
In this project, I explore three key elements:
- Clarity: Knowing what you want and why.
- Courage: Overcoming fear and hesitation.
- Confidence: Trusting yourself to take action.
There’s also a storytelling framework I like to use — the Villain, Hero, and Guide. The villain represents the internal or external obstacles holding us back. The hero is the version of ourselves we want to become. And the guide is the role we take on when helping others transform their villains into heroes.
“Now What?” could very well carry my longtime Repossible tagline: Who will you be next? It’s about embracing the decisions that shape your daily life because, in the end, what you do regularly is who you become.
📘 The ONE Word Challenge: Your Annual Guidepost
Next up is the “ONE Word Challenge,” a project I’ve nurtured for years through workshops, books, and audio programs. This challenge encourages you to pick a single word to guide your entire year — a personal mantra that shapes your mindset, goals, and actions.
Think of it as your treasure map on the journey from A to B to C (and yes, C sounds like “see”). The idea is simple yet powerful:
- Take action to gain clarity or
- Gain clarity to take action.
Most people prefer clarity first, but I’m more of an action-first kind of guy. The program goes beyond just one word; it includes writing exercises about your present and a unique “epilogue” where you write your future history, forecasting your life and goals from the future back to today.
This exercise is a yearly reset, a way to evolve continuously and intentionally. Since each year you are a different person, your one word should reflect that ongoing transformation.
🎙️ OPA: Sharing Through Conversations
The third project is tentatively called OPA, short for “Other People’s Audiences.” While the name might sound like marketing jargon, the heart of this project is much simpler and far more meaningful.
OPA is about interviewing people, having meaningful conversations, and helping them share their message. Whether it’s a book, course, or business, these dialogues happen over Zoom and become a rich source of content.
Here’s the magic:
- I record these conversations and chop them into snippets, clips, shorts, reels, and excerpts that people can use in their marketing.
- We help participants improve their interview skills — how to talk about their work, summarize ideas, and clarify their message.
- We use specialized software to analyze these discussions, creating new content from different perspectives on the same material.
This multi-layered content creation not only amplifies voices but also sharpens communication skills, helping people connect with their audiences more effectively.
🚀 Bringing It All Together: Decide, Act, Share
At the core of these three projects lies a simple yet powerful mantra: Decide, Act, Share. This framework is what I want to embody in my work and encourage in my clients, readers, and listeners.
- Decide: Make clear, confident decisions based on clarity and courage.
- Act: Take consistent, meaningful action toward your goals.
- Share: Communicate your message, connect with others, and help transform villains into heroes.
This approach not only helps us grow individually but also creates a ripple effect, empowering others to find their path.
🔧 Tools and Technology Behind the Scenes
While the heart of this plan is human connection and personal growth, technology plays a supporting role. As mentioned, I’m moving away from expensive platforms to a new software called Fluent, which is affordable and efficient.
More importantly, I’m using innovative tools that help summarize content, provide new perspectives, and guide conversations with AI-driven inputs. These tools enhance feedback loops and help refine ideas faster.
This blend of technology and human insight is crucial for scaling impact without losing authenticity.
🌟 Looking Ahead: What’s Next?
This 2025 plan is just the beginning. The real test will be putting it into practice and seeing how these three pillars interact and evolve. I’m excited to share future updates, including feedback from clients and collaborators, and insights gained from testing this approach.
If you’re ready to simplify your creative world, focus on what matters, and take steps toward your future self, I invite you to join me on this journey. Remember, the treasure map isn’t a single path but a set of guiding principles that help you navigate from confusion to clarity, from hesitation to action, and from isolation to community.
