The line at the post office is too short.

The line at the post office is too short.

When you have a good book, the rest of the world just moves too quickly.

The lines at the post office are just too short to get much reading in.

The lines at the post office are just too short to get much reading in.

I had to pick up a package. There was a line almost to the door. “Oh good.” I thought. I have my Kindle app on my phone. I can go anywhere, wait for anything, be anyone.

If you’re not reading a good book, when will you be? When I don’t have a good book in my life, in my daily, everyday life, it’s just not as interesting. I’m living someone else’s story alongside my own. I get to learn, experience, watch, listen, play, and do whatever they do through the words, through the pages and each page usually brings something that make me want to go the next page until the point where I just can’t put it down and then finally I’m almost there and finally … “Next in line!”

Poof.

I need to go places that have longer lines.
