There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle.
You do have a choice.
You also only have one life.
There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle.
Albert Einstein
Do you remember what it was like to be a kid? Where everything is new and fanciful and you have questions about everything–and anything?
You have little reference for what is good or bad, big or small, important or unimportant. It’s all new or at least to you.
You know the goldfish who has such a short-term memory that he swims a lap around his bowl and says, “Nice castle!” each time? There are upsides to that.
What if we treated our life like that? Saw it through the eyes of a bewildered child?
I haven’t been doing it so much these first few weeks of this year.
But in order to rise back up and treat everything as a miracle, in other words, from what has become my New Normal, I want to see everything as a miracle again.
I will.
I just need to get past this mortal phase of physicality and return to the realm of magic and imagination and miracles.
Just thought you’d want to know.
