Want to arrive early? Leave early.

Want to arrive early? Leave early.

We actually did it. We left early.

Trying to get a head start on new year’s resolutions … Don’t Be Late.

It must sound so simple: just leave earlier. Well, ahem, it is simple to say, it’s just harder to do. No, scratch that, it’s not harder to do, it’s just hard if you’re not used to it. Being on time, or being early, is just a habit that you can build and grow and improve on, just like any other habit.

We left at 5:30 am. It was tough, sure. I wanted to be gone by 6:00 am at the latest and we made it out of there by 5:30 (or 5:40, I’m not sure). It was dark, cold, raining and my two kids and wife were snuggled up in the car and I was ready. We actually pulled out of the driveway, we did it, we left early.

Then, shock, horror, we arrived early. No traffic, some rain, no big stops. We arrived early then made our 2:00 pm appointment. Rocket science. Done. I’m ready for 2015, bring it on.

Imagine: arrive early by leaving early. Rocket science.

Imagine: arrive early by leaving early. Rocket science.
