Do you really know your customer’s pain?
Have you felt it yourself?
Tonight is our big school auction party. Several hundred people drinking gallons of wine, spending thousands of dollars and then spending hours in line to pick it all up and pay for it (pretty much in that order, too).
But tonight, one element of that sequence is not going to be present.
Oh, they’ll still have wine–even a vodka bar, too.
They’ll spend lots of money (see previous note about vodka).
But they won’t spend hours in line afterwards.
They will rejoice, have extra “bonus” time in their lives and some might even go stand in a line that goes nowhere just for old time’s sake. But tonight we are alleviating some pains–and that’s a good thing.
