Lamb with apricots, walnuts and cinnamon? Yes, please.

We had the pumpkin and carrot tagine with marinated lentils and also the lamb tagine with apricots, walnuts, almonds and cinnamon. For drinks, we’d had enough alcohol in Ireland so were pleased to find these very different drinks on the menu: almond and sultanas with cinnamon and milk and then the fig and ginger drink with rose water. Whoa, what a surprise. Both were just so different. In fact, maybe I should just have more Moroccan food–it was so “tasty” to use a word that might not help so much. Cinnamon and sultanas, almonds and milk, spices that I’m not used to. After several days of stews, potatoes, and ciders, this was a welcome retreat. See their site on Yelp.
