All I Need is One
How many people do you see standing in front of you?
The distance between impossible and possible is one.
My proposal can be rejected by hundreds of people, but I only need one person to say yes one time.
I don’t need to know how to lose 20 pounds, I need to work on losing just one. I need to start, I need confirmation for that first one, then I’ll move onto more.
I don’t need to hear about the 99 people who didn’t heal their bodies of cancer, I need to learn how that one person did it.
I don’t need a solution to work 100% of the time, I just need it to work once, I just need it to work for me.
I just need to know that it’s possible, that it’s happened one time in the history of the world so that I know that I can do it. If someone else has turned what I thought impossible into something that I know is possible, then I have changed my mindset.
I don’t need to be friends with the entire new school, I just need one 12-year old boy to send me one text to invite me one time to meet him at 8 o’clock across from the tennis courts on Monday morning to know that if I can make just one friend then I can be a friend and if I can be a friend then I can have more friends. But it needs to start with one.
All I need is one.
