Nothing is Magical

I’m mortal. Normal. Grounded.

I’m also jet-lagged.

Or is it that I’m jet lagged which turns me non-magical, mortal, normal, and grounded?

I’m a bit of a zombie. But not in that good, floaty, in-the-clouds way. More like the tired, mindless, even headless way.

But not in the good way.

I feel mortal. I feel normal. I have doubts and worries and concerns.

This isn’t the regular me.

I don’t like it.
