Pee! A Little Book About Taking a Leak

Pee! A Little Book About Taking a Leak

My son is finally appreciated for his potty humor.

The smile on his face was worth the trash talk, his unstoppable giggling was pure, and, I have to admit, it was quite witty.

I apologize in advance, but I love language and appreciate when someone plays with it like a puzzle. Warning: here comes some blatant proud parental comments.

I thoroughly enjoy witnessing the thought process of children. Adults can be interesting too, but you often don’t think twice about how someone comes up with an answer or comment unless you’re, well, paying attention. But this worth remembering.

He was reading a children’s book (the author is actually a Dutch friend of ours and the book is darling … !) and twisted the title to make it more boy friendly. The title of the book is, “Peep! A Little Book About Taking a Leap” and he turned it into “Pee! A Little Book About Taking a Leak.” I’ll link to the book on her page here and we’ll see if Maria checks her stats and incoming links … 😉

Maybe he’ll be a headline writer, a marketing guru or ad man. Or just a funny guy at parties who charms the girls. For now, he’s still an 8-year old who still loves pee and poop. I’ll take it.

It took some thought to turn this title into an 8-year old boy's dream book title.
