Real Writers Use Scrivener

Real Writers Use Scrivener

Somehow it makes it more official that I just bought Scrivener. Like I just bought a typewriter.

Real writers user Scrivener. Well, OK, I have no idea if that makes any sense, but I just bought it, so that's how I feel.

I’ve been writing mostly in WordPress the past few years, mostly because I publish most everything I write. But I’ve been hearing more about more about Scrivener and was planning on getting it and then it was on (big) sale at Boing Boing so I got it.

I haven’t even opened it yet. This is maybe a little silly, but you’ll understand if you’re passionate about, well, anything.

Does buying Scrivener make me a writer?

No. But using it to write does.

So it concerns me a little that I’ve heard of a popular course called “Learn Scrivener Fast” and that it’s popular because Scrivener isn’t all that straightforward. I am in that course so maybe I’ll do that first and then be ready to jump into the new software and write!
