How far do you have to search for beauty?

How far do you have to search for beauty?

It’s not a question of distance, but of perspective.

What is beauty? It’s subjective. Walking home from school, on a pedestrian bridge, under a cloudy sky, hiding in between rails of the wall, a pattern of rain drops that would taken a designer, scientist, or architect countless hours to replicate and still not reproduce, we find the simple home (and trap) of a spider.

We can only imitate nature, we can’t replicate it. When we try to duplicate it, it’s usually a good effort, but just not the same. In the middle of the city, on a boring bridge on an average misty morning and this?

P.S. What’s the best camera? The one you have with you.

Beauty is found in the most obscure of places.

Beauty is found in the most obscure of places–or obvious.
