Wild Horses

Wild Horses

A fun read (or listen) for a long drive.

It’s interesting to think about how he learns so much about his subjects: film making, for example.

I know he knows his horse racing, but then he pulls in other topics and industries and we get to learn about those as well. Does he do all of the research about the industry, does he get help from staff, does he just know this stuff?

I quite like that his books aren’t so long. We started and finished this one (audiobook) on a 5-hour trip easily. The British readers make it enjoyable as well. I wasn’t as into this one as I was the one about the restaurant owner, but maybe I’m more interested in how a restaurant is run than how a film is made … or maybe I was just hungry.
