If I hadn’t had my book available as a podcast, this might have never happened.

If I hadn’t had my book available as a podcast, this might have never happened.

If you have your book on audio and you have the rights, why not put it up as a podcast?

I was on a call yesterday that might turn into an interesting venture for 2019. We’ll see how far it goes, but let’s do a little logic:

  1. They found me through my podcast. No, not that podcast, this podcast.
  2. They would not have found me (through the podcast) if the podcast didn’t exist.

Did you follow the logic? They found me through my podcast (which is just one episode per chapter, literally dropped into the podcasting software every week) and they wouldn’t have found me through the podcast if it didn’t exist.

It might be nothing. It might be my biggest connection of the year. It’ll probably be somewhere in between.

But none of it would have happened were my book not available as a podcast.

It’s that simple.
