I guess you could give them an ice cream. Or you could do this.

I’ve spent the past few days helping my nieces record their books as narrators for the audiobook version.

We’re done.

I’m still editing.

But I gave them something only I could give: my time, my attention, my experience, my enthusiasm, my confidence.
