Podcasting is the new Blogging

Podcasting is the new Blogging
This entry is part 31 of 33 in the series Audio for Authors

Audio is taking over (written) words.

Joanna Penn, my go-to source for trends, future forecasting, and all things “authorpreneurial” says “Podcasting is the new Blogging” in her latest, well, duh, episode of her The Creative Penn podcast, or, eh, show (“Podcasting Goes Mainstream. How Can Authors Benefit? Lessons Learned From Podcast Movement 2019“).

As much as I like to write words on a page (or onto a screen), as a consumer, I’m much more of an audiophile.

Have a listen to her podcast episode and see if you agree about the future of words and how they’re distributed and consumed.
