Do We Listen? (And an excellent example of newsletter marketing.)

Do We Listen? (And an excellent example of newsletter marketing.)
This entry is part 28 of 33 in the series Audio for Authors

As much as I am into creating audio, we need to listen?

There’s an audio shop here in The Netherlands that I’m a huge fan of.

Here’s an excellent example of “Newsletter Marketing.”

Sure, they have a sale and they give you a coupon, but the important part is they’re sharing this excellent video that you want to watch even if you don’t buy anything. That’s the ideal marketing message:

  1. Share something good (ideally, something shareable).
  2. Have a coupon.
  3. Leave it at that.

As someone who creates and consumes tons of audio, I appreciate this message.

Especially the shocker bit in the video at around the 1:40 mark.

Listen.
