I just got off the phone with my niece (and why that’s important).

I just got off the phone with my niece (and why that’s important).
This entry is part 43 of 70 in the series Spark

We talked book covers, subtitles, and competition.

Background: she’s my niece. She’s 17. I can probably count the times we have “talked” on the phone on two hands–and most of those were handed over from her mom to say something like, “Happy Birthday.”

So why are we on the phone now?

Because we’re writing a book together.

Let met repeat that because it’s worth repeating.

My niece and I are writing a book together.

I’m just going to leave that as it is and treasure it.

This is Spark Campfire. We’re just getting started, I’m not leaving, the embers are glowing, and other campers are wondering what all of the glittery love is coming from our campfire.

I’m so excited to read the book, but more excited about the process you and Taylor are going through.
