What’s the one little spark going to be that sets off the creativity in you (or your child)?

If I said I knew for sure, I would be lying.

People often ask me how I knew this whole thing would start back in 2014 while sitting on the red chair in our living room in San Francisco.

The answer is both simple and easy: I didn’t know.

The only thing I know about action is that action creates more action. Creating creates more creation.

Had I not given that first book,” The Secret of Kite Hill,” a try at all, I never would have moved on to the following books in the series and certainly would not be leading others in the spark campfire series to write their own books together with a younger person and get it done in one month.

So my easy answer to the question of what spark is going to set off fireworks is that it will be one of the sparks. Did you catch that part? There need to be many sparks and one of them well like the creative fire under you but as far as I know, we don’t know which one it is.

Until we do know, the best strategy is to keep creating, to keep sparking your creativity and one day the fire will be lit.

As a bonus, creating the spark, creating for creating sake, is actually the goal. Although we might think the goal is to set the big bonfire ablaze, the true goal is to keep sparking our imagination.
